” I am only one, but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something; and because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do something that I can do.”

-Helen Keller

Hi there, thanks for visiting my virtual realm. Teaching is my passion and I am currently an academic lecturer in the Language & Technology Department, English Language Teaching Centre, Ministry of Education Malaysia. I am a certified Graduate Technologist from the Malaysian Board of Technologists (MBOT), Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert (2022-2023), Microsoft Innovative Educator Trainer (2021-2022), Google Certified Educator Level 1 & 2, Apple Teacher, Edpuzzle Coach and T4 Ambassador. The highlight of my oratory experience was when I was invited as the keynote speaker for the 6th International Malaysian Education Technology Convention 2012.

I’m a PhD holder in Management of Technology at the Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology. I completed my MSc. in IT Management at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and received the Pro-Chancellor Academic Excellence Award and Best Postgraduate Award (Faculty of Computing) upon completion. I also studied Management of Innovation and Creative Writing at Harvard University (CGPA 4.0). Prior to this, I read TESL at the University of Exeter.

Apart from teaching, I had the experience writing for Utusan Malaysia, Pelangi Publication and Oxford Fajar. My current interests are micro-credentials, Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), Artificial Intelligence (AR) as well as Online Continuous Professional Development (e-CPD). I train ELT practitioners locally and internationally on optimising digital tools in English Language Teaching via synchronous and asynchronous training and resources. Honestly, I believe that if you love what you do, you can reach greater heights and make a difference.
